Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two year full –time degree programme covering all the relevant and functional areas of computer application and focused on imparting the latest IT education with well-defined teaching pedagogy. The adequately tailored MCA programme prepares young individuals to develop into budding professionals and excel in the corporate arena.
In the recent years, we saw the emergence of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) as one of the most sought after courses among the professionals degrees. It has become a pre- requisite qualification for the aspirants entering the software profession. The boom in the IT sector has turned the tide towards MCA and now the MCA graduates along with the engineering graduates are ruling the Software arena. Every company looks to run their communication systems and information technology in an improvised and highly effective manner. In this endeavor they are in the need of experts, who will be in a position to implement computer science principles for solving the problems caused by the interface of technology and perfectly satisfied by the MCA graduates.
Bachelor’s degree of minimum three year with at least aggregate 50% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign University and Mathematics as one subject at 10+2 level or graduation. Those appearing for their final year examination may also apply.
Admission to MCA program is made as per rules prescribed by the Academic Council of Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, based on valid UPCET rank, through university Counseling.
